. cisf orpaadidathu important instistutionsilokke security service cheyyunnundu..strict aanu avar..itharam incidents valare rare aanu..ithezhuthiya lekhakan uniformil on dutyil ninnaa sainikanethire aadhyam kayyuyarthiya airport jeevanakkarane kurichonnum ezhuthiyilla...unionte alathil enthum aavaam enna samskaaram maaaan kooduthal paramilitary deployment keralathil undaavendiyirikkunnu...oru seelaavunnathu nallathaa കരിപ്പൂരിലെ കരയുദ്ധം സുരക്ഷാവെല്ലുവിളി യാത്രികര്‍ക്കു പരമാവധി സുരക്ഷയൊരുക്കേണ്ട വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ അവരുടെ ജീവന്‍വച്ചു വിലപേശുന്ന കാടത്തമായിരുന്നു കരിപ്പൂരില്‍ ബുധനാഴ്ച രാത്രി കണ്ടത്‌. വിമാനത്താവള ജീവനക്കാരും ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്‌സ്‌ അധികൃതരും കേന്ദ്ര വ്യവസായ സുരക്ഷാസേന(സി.ഐ.എസ്.എഫ്.)യും തമ്മിലുണ്ടായ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലും കൊലപാതകവും ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ കേട്ടുകേള്‍വിയില്ലാത്തതായിരുന്നു. സിനിമയെ വെല്ലുംവിധമായിരുന്നു കരിപ്പൂരിലെ സംഭവങ്ങള്‍. അരാജകത്വം നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്ന ചില ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍ രാഷ്‌ട്രങ്ങളിലും ഭരണകൂടം അട്ടിമറിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സമയങ്ങളിലും എയര്‍പോര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നതൊക്കെ വാര്‍ത്തകളില്‍ നിറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. എന്നാല്‍, അതിനെയൊക്കെ അതിശയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിധത്തില്‍ ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തിനു സമാനമായ സാഹചര്യം സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ച്‌ കരിപ്പൂര്‍ വിമാനത്താവളം അത്‌ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാന്‍ ചുമതലപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ തന്നെ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുന്ന ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാഴ്‌ചയാണ്‌ രാജ്യം കണ്ടത്‌. കരിപ്പൂര്‍ സംഭവം രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ മുഖം തന്നെ വികൃതമാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. രാജ്യത്തെ എല്ലാവിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളുടെയും സുരക്ഷാച്ചുമതല വഹിക്കുന്നത്‌ സി.ഐ.എസ്.എഫ്. ആണ്‌. സ്വര്‍ണക്കള്ളക്കടത്തടക്കം സജീവമായ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ പരിശോധന കര്‍ശനമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌തിരുന്നു. വിരലിലെണ്ണാവുന്ന ചില പ്രത്യേക വിഭാഗത്തില്‍പ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്കു മാത്രമേ സുരക്ഷാപരിശോധന ഇല്ലാതെ അകത്തേക്കും പുറത്തേക്കും കടന്നുപോകാനാകൂ. സംസ്‌ഥാന മന്ത്രിമാരടക്കമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക്‌ സുരക്ഷാ പരിശോധനയുണ്ടെന്ന കാര്യം ഓര്‍ക്കണം. സുരക്ഷയുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ സി.ഐ.എസ്.എഫ്. വിട്ടുവീഴ്‌ച ചെയ്ാതിയരുന്നതോടെ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലെ മറ്റു ജീവനക്കാരിലും അവരുടെ മേധാവികള്‍ക്കും ഇതു അമര്‍ഷത്തിനിടയാക്കി. ആരാണ്‌ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിന്റെ അധികാരി എന്ന നിലയിലേക്ക്‌ തര്‍ക്കവും മുറുമുറുപ്പും ഇവിടെ കുറച്ചുനാളായി രൂപപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അതിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും തീവ്രമായ പ്രതിഫലനമായിരുന്നു പരസ്‌പരമുള്ള ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിലേക്കും ഒരു സി.ഐ.എസ്.എഫ്. ജവാന്റെ മരണത്തിലേക്കും വഴിതെളിച്ചത്‌. മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം കരിപ്പൂര്‍ വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ കരയുദ്ധം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു നടന്നത്‌. ജീവനക്കാര്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള മുപ്പിളമത്തര്‍ക്കം ചര്‍ച്ചചെയ്‌ത്‌ പരിഹരിക്കാവുന്നതായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അതിനുള്ള ആത്മാര്‍ഥമായ ശ്രമം നടന്നിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഇത്തരമൊരു ദുരന്തം കരിപ്പൂരില്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുമായിരുന്നില്ല. കരിപ്പൂരില്‍ തകര്‍ന്നടിഞ്ഞുപോയത്‌ യാത്രക്കാരുടെ സുരക്ഷതന്നെയായിരുന്നു. വിമാനത്താവളത്തിനകത്ത്‌ പോരാട്ടം നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഇവിടെയിറങ്ങാന്‍ അനുമതി കാത്ത്‌ നൂറുകണക്കിന് യാത്രക്കാരുമായി ആകാശത്ത്‌ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ വട്ടം കറങ്ങുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഉടന്‍ ലാന്‍ഡ്‌ ചെയ്‌തില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഇന്ധനംപോലും തീര്‍ന്നുപോകുമെന്ന സന്ദേശം കിട്ടിയിട്ടും വഴങ്ങാതിരുന്ന ജീവനക്കാര്‍ ഭീകരന്‍മാരെപ്പോലും തോല്‍പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. ഇവിടെ റണ്‍വേയിലേക്ക്‌ ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്‌സിന്റെയും മറ്റും വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ഇറക്കിയിട്ട്‌ ലാന്‍ഡിങിനെ തടസപ്പെടുത്തുകകൂടി ചെയ്തു. വിമാനയാത്രികരുടെ ജീവന്‌ പുല്‍ക്കൊടിയുടെ വിലപോലും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ശമ്പളം പറ്റുന്നവര്‍ കാണിക്കാത്തത്‌ കൊടും ക്രൂരതയായിപ്പോയി. ഉറ്റവരെ കാത്ത്‌ വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ വന്നവര്‍ നേരിട്ട വിഷമതകളും അനവധിയാണ്‌. ഇവിടെയിറങ്ങേണ്ട വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ പിന്നീട്‌ നെടുമ്പാശേരി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലേക്കു തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടത്‌ രക്ഷയായി. മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ക്കുശേഷം ഇന്നലെ രാവിലെയോടെ വിമാനത്താവളം തുറന്നതോടെയാണ്‌ ആശങ്കയുടെ ഒരു കാളരാത്രി അവസാനിച്ചത്‌. ജീവനക്കാര്‍ നടത്തിയ അഴിഞ്ഞാട്ടം എന്തിനുവേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നു? ഒരു വിഭാഗം ജീവനക്കാര്‍ സുരക്ഷാപരിശോധനയെ എതിര്‍ക്കുന്നതെന്തിനാണ്‌? അങ്ങേയറ്റം സുരക്ഷ വേണ്ടിടത്ത്‌ ചട്ടവും നിയമവും ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി മാറ്റിയെഴുതണമെന്ന്‌ വാശി പിടിക്കുന്നത്‌ എന്തിനാണ്‌? കള്ളക്കടത്തും തീവ്രവാദപ്രവര്‍ത്തനവും മറ്റും വര്‍ധിച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ പഴുതടച്ച സുരക്ഷയ്‌ക്കായി മുറവിളി ഉയരുമ്പോള്‍ ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്കു പരിശോധന വേണ്ടെന്നു പറയുന്നത്‌ എന്തര്‍ഥത്തിലാണ്‌. ഇത്ര കര്‍ശന പരിശോധനകള്‍ നടത്തിയിട്ടുപോലും കോടിക്കണക്കിനു രൂപയുടെ സ്വര്‍ണം കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുവരുമ്പോള്‍ അതിന്‌ ഉദ്യോഗസ്‌ഥര്‍ കൂട്ടുനിന്ന അനവധി സംഭവവും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. കള്ളക്കടത്തിനു ഒത്താശചെയ്‌ത പല ഉന്നതരും പിന്നീട്‌ പിടിയിലാകുകയും ചെയ്‌തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നതു മറക്കാവുന്നതല്ല. വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളില്‍ സുരക്ഷയ്‌ക്കു തന്നെയാണ്‌ പരമപ്രാധാന്യം. കരിപ്പൂരിലെ സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ വെടിയേറ്റു മരിച്ചു എന്നതിനപ്പുറം വിമാനമിറങ്ങുന്നത്‌ തടസപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട്‌ റണ്‍വേയിലേക്ക്‌ വാഹനങ്ങളും മറ്റും ഇറക്കിയിട്ടു എന്നത്‌ ഗുരുതരമായ കുറ്റംതന്നെയാണ്‌. ഇതിനുത്തരവാദികളെ കണ്ടെത്തി മാതൃകപരമായി ശിക്ഷ നല്‍കാന്‍ ഒട്ടും വൈകരുത്‌. | |

| Immigration row: I helped Lalit Modi on humanitarian grounds, says Sushma Swaraj
External Affairs Minister minister Sushma Swaraj has now been dragged into the immigration controversy surrounding former cricketing tycoon Lalit Modi. According to a report in a UK English daily, Labour MP Keith Vaz used Swaraj's name to put pressure on the UK's top immigration official to grant British travel papers to Modi.
Citing a leaked correspondence, the report in The Sunday Times reveals how Vaz cited Swaraj's name to the Home Office in an effort to expedite the case of Modi. Vaz had previously offered to help Swaraj's nephew to apply for a British law degree course, the report claimed.
The new information shows the extent to which Vaz intervened on behalf of Modi with Sarah Rapson, the head of UK visas and immigration.
Less than 24 hours after Vaz invoked Swaraj's name and that of Sir James Bevan, the British High Commissioner to India, Modi, the founder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20, was granted his travel papers, the report claimed.
Meanwhile, Sushma Swaraj took to Twitter on Sunday to clarify her stand in the controversy. Swaraj pointed out that she only helped Modi on 'humanitarian' grounds and that nothing more should be read in the issue.
"Sometime in July 2014, Lalit Modi spoke to me that his wife was suffering from Cancer and her surgery was fixed for August 4 in Portugal. He told me that he had to be present in the hospital to sign the consent papers," the minister posted.
"He informed me that he had applied for travel documents in London and the UK government was prepared to give him the travel documents. However, they were restrained by a UPA government communication that this will spoil Indo-UK relations," Swaraj said.
"Taking a humanitarian view, I conveyed to the British High Commissioner that: British government should examine the request of Lalit Modi as per British rules and regulations. If the British government chooses to give travel documents to Lalit Modi that will not spoil our bilateral relations," she added.
Swaraj also admitted that Vaz spoke to her over the issue.
"I genuinely believe that in a situation such as this, giving emergency travel documents to an Indian citizen cannot and should not spoil relations between the two countries. I may also state that only few days later, Delhi High Court quashed the UPA government's order impounding Lalit Modi's passport on the ground that the said order was unconstitutional being violative of fundamental rights and he got his passport back," Swaraj said.
On the issue of Vaz helping her nephew apply for a British law degree course, Swaraj clarified that Jyotirmay Kaushal took admission in a law course at Sussex University one year before her joining the Narendra Modi cabinet.
"Regarding Jyotirmay Kaushal's admission in a law course at Sussex University, he secured admission through the normal admission process in 2013 - one year before I became a minister," Swaraj's tweet said. | |
