SWEET I THINK BATTERY IS NOT OPERATING BECAUSE ONCE I DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER WHOLE SYSTEM BLANKS OUT,,IN THAT CASE WHAT WILL BE THE SOLUTION..MY SYSTEM IS DELL INSPIRON 1525 ANDOS IS VISTA

jenny, i'm uncertain if I can assist you however i will certainly try. i had the same problem with my toshibha laptop..chk ur battery if der is physcial damage in the batterry. u cud try swapping to other laptop and see if it works. as for me i had to get replaced new battery which was worn out. there's also a need for getting bios updated which is available from dell website. get the help from expertise to do this. also chk ur ac adaptor is in working condition.. u might b familiar that dell has lifetime support on all its machines so you won't have any difficulty in contacting them. all the best for ur laptop to stay smooth working.

Jenny,detach the battery from laptop,and plug it again.Then check.Sometimes this will solve the issue

for firefox , configure the proxy settings to manually with port 9666 and http proxy 127.0.0.1.

i too had faced probs in downloading the softwares... coz though its a proxy server software, they have blocked the access for downloading here too. i got this software from torrent...hmm..illegal
