India has chosen its Singing Superstar. Zee TV’s Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar – the Mecca of soulful singing witnessed a extraordinary night replete with glitz, glamour and Christmas festivities! As cool winds blew around the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai – the venue of the Grand Finale – the evening saw the who’s who of the music industry making their presence felt at the biggest musical event which declared Kamal – the Singing Superstar of India!
The nineteen-week series of fierce competition between contestants belonging to various regions culminated in a magnificent star studded Grand Finale. The final battle between Kamal, Abhilasha and Bisakh, saw Kamal emerge as the winner of Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar while Abhilasha Chellum and Bisakh Jyoti remained first and second runner up respectively. Kamal walked away with a newly launched Grande MK II Car and a Hero Honda ZMR Bike. All the 3 finalists also got a one year Scholarship at A R Rehman’s K M Music Conservatory in Chennai to learn music. Kamal walked away with Samsung LED TV’s as well while Bisakh and Abhilasha got Samsung home theatre.
